ITINERARY
DAY 1:-Guwahati Arrival | Drive to Shillong
Around 11:00 AM, the participants will gather at the designated meeting spot in Guwahati, where the trip leader will give a brief introduction.
Later on, we will proceed to Shillong, which is a scenic hill station situated in the central part of Meghalaya. Its unparalleled beauty has earned it the popular nickname of the "Scotland of the East."
Once we arrive in Shillong, we will proceed to our hotels and enjoy some free time. Later in the day, we will visit various cafes and also explore the local market of Shillong. Stay in Shillong: for one night.
DAY 02:-Drive from Shillong to Shnongpdeng via Laitlum
After having breakfast early in the morning, we will make our way to Dawki, a renowned destination known for its captivating Dawki river. This river is well-known for its striking turquoise color, resembling a smooth and reflective glass surface.
On our way, we would make a stop at the Krang Shuri waterfall, renowned for its mesmerizing silky water that cascades down, making it one of the most captivating waterfalls in Meghalaya. In addition, we will be exploring Laitlum Canyons, a lookout spot where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Meghalaya's valleys.
Once we reach Dawki, we will proceed to our riverside camps in Shnongpdeng, a tranquil small village nestled within the town's boundaries.
Later in the day, we will visit various cafes and also explore the local market of Shillong.
Dinner followed by an overnight stay in camps in Shnongpdeng.
DAY 03- Adventure Activities | Drive towards Cherrapunji
After breakfast, we'll partake in thrilling river activities including boating, snorkeling, and cliff jumping.
After that, we'll travel to Cherrapunji, a place well-known for its live root bridges and copious amounts of rain that fall there each year.
Along the way, we'll pass the Indo-Bangla Border and stop at Mawlynnong, known as Asia's cleanest village and like a huge orchard of verdant canopies. The settlement also provides stunning views of the Bangladesh plains that are nearby.
When we go to Cherrapunji, we'll check into our hotel and stay there for the night.
DAY 04- Trek to Double Decker Bridge | Overnight stay in Cherrapunji
We'll also visit the Seven Sister Falls, a stunning seven-segmented waterfall that stretches down a rocky cliff, after an early morning breakfast. After that, we'll go to the Mawsmai Caves, one of Cherrapunji's most famous landmarks. The limestone caverns have a mysterious charm due to the beautiful stalactites that cover their roofs.
After that, we'll travel in the direction of Nongriat hamlet and begin our hike to the famous Double Decker Living Roots Bridge. The walk is particularly satisfying because of the rushing sound of the river, the abundance of vibrant butterflies, and the enchanted forests.
After that, we're going to return to the hotel. Spend the night in Cherrapunji.
DAY 05- Drive from Cherrapunji to Shillong
Following a leisurely breakfast in the morning, we will depart from our accommodation and make our way to Shillong.
While traveling, we will stop at the Nohkalikai waterfall, which stands at a startling 1,115 feet and is Meghalaya's tallest plunge waterfall. We'll also go to the Garden of Caves, which is a naturally occurring wonderland with streams, waterfalls, rocky hills, and caves located close to Cherrapunji.
We'll check into our hotel and spend the night there when we get to Shillong.
DAY 06- Drive from Shillong to Guwahati via Umiam
We'll check out of our hotel rooms and return to Guwahati after a hearty breakfast. We will stop at the well-known Umiam Lake, one of Meghalaya's largest artificial lakes, en route.
When the party gets to Guwahati, they will each depart for their different destinations in accordance with their own schedules.

Cancellation Policy
No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations. However,
If cancellations are made within 30 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made 45-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 60-45 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
